SIGNAL FREQUENCY SCORE · 91/100
RSI-14
Definition
Relative Strength Index, 14-period. Above 70 = overbought, below 30 = oversold. Sigmentum treats 55–70 as the momentum sweet spot for new Long entries.
How Sigmentum uses it
RSI is a bounded oscillator (0–100) that measures how fast price has moved relative to its recent history. The standard interpretation treats above 70 as overbought and below 30 as oversold — useful but incomplete. In a strong uptrend, RSI often stays above 55 for extended periods without reversing. Entering at RSI 65 in an uptrend is frequently more reliable than waiting for a dip below 50, because the dip never comes.
